Framed Print of Northern coastline of King Island at Disappointment bay

King Island, lush green pastures and wild coastal reserves is an island which is situated on the Western side of Bass Strait, and is part of the Australian state of Tasmania. It is the largest of the islands known as the New Year Group, and the second-largest island in Bass Strait. The island is famous for its soft cheese production, superb beef cattle and kelp seaweed processing. It has wild and rugged coastlines and an infamous history of shipwrecks. Over 300 vessels were wrecked on or near the Islands coastline, mainly in colonial times. One of these shipwrecks was the worst peacetime maritime disaster in Australias history. Immerse yourself in the stunning allure of Australia through our exquisite art collection. © Southern Lightscapes
