These images have been selected because they have large areas of a similar colours making them much more difficult to put together because pieces may be difficult or nearly impossible to match together without using the trial-and-error method.
With 1,000 pieces in a puzzle, it takes time to sort through the pieces several times to find the pieces and matches you are looking for. Whereas smaller puzzles make for less time sorting through pieces making faster puzzling.
