The first restoration on the clock was completed in January 2018, over 100 years after it was made by local clockmaker F Zeigler in 1907.
The Flinders Street Railway Station was completed in 1910. It is historically significant as the centre of Victoria's suburban railway system. It is a major landmark building of Melbourne and Victoria
