Proudfoots Boathouse is of architectural significance and could perhaps be the finest example of a 19th century colonial boathouse in the state of Victoria. Although recent modifications have reduced the original materials of the buildings, many original features
still remain to this day. The beautifully ornamented buildings still provide an attractive instance of 19th century leisure facility architecture.
